Our Construction Management Team Responsibilities

Project Coordinator

Plan and direct the activities of the Construction Inspection Staff and coordinate their activities with the Construction Management team . Effectively utilize staff resources and staff expertise to comply with the client procedures , project specifications , governmental regulatory codes , quality assurance , and safety I environmental policies including but not limited to, DOT and FERC . Adhering to project plans, execution of staff control in the areas of quality control, documentation, reporting, contracts and material delivery and job completion packages . Provide construction consultation between the client and the contractor . Also provides assistance and information to the management staff and client.

Chief Inspector

Duties and responsibilities require being knowledgeable and experienced in all phases of pipeline inspection and applicable crafts. Act as a Client Representative to monitor compliance w ith all provisions of various state, county and local governmental regulatory permits and agencies, including persona l contact with designated officials .

Supervise all phases of the field quality control and technical staff assigned to the project to observe adherence to client company ‘s construction contract drawings and specifications. Delegate and oversee responsibilities and define limits of authority to each Inspector assigned to the project. Make sure all members of the quality control team know their respective duties.

Assistant Chief

Duties and Responsibilities require being knowledgeable and experienced in all aspects of each pipeline craft.

Assistant chief acts as a liaison between the craft inspectors, contractors assigned to the project and the chief inspector. The assistant chief is responsible for the positive flow of the project as well as filling in when needed for craft inspectors. Keeping records and receipts and preparing job books. Responsibilities also include processing detailed jobsite related documentation .

Welding / AWS Inspector

Duties and responsibilities require being knowledgeable and experienced in all phases of pipeline inspection. Oversee welder qualifications , welding work , welding facilities, welding conditions , weld records and radiographic examinations. Perform duties as designated by the Chief Inspector in accordance with the job requirements outlined in the assigned activity and monitor the compliance of project specifications , codes , safety and environmental policies. Keep a daily log of all potential incidents . progress and prepare appropriate report(s) for the Inspector’s assigned activity . Employees with AWS credentials are certified in their crafts .

Coating / NACE Inspector

Duties and responsibilities require being knowledgeable and experienced in all phases of pipeline inspection. Oversee application of FBE and ARO coat ings specific to the manufacturer and clients specifications and standards. Keep a daily log of all potential incidents, progress and prepare appropriate report(s) for the Inspector’s assigned activity. Employees with NACE credentials are certified in their crafts.

Craft / Utility Inspector

Duties and responsibilities require being knowledgeable and experienced in all phases of pipeline inspection. Perform duties as designated by the Chief Inspector or Assistant Chief, in accordance with the job requirements outlined in the assigned activity and monitors the compliance of client’s project specifications , codes , safety and environmental policies . Keep a daily log of all potential incidents , progress and prepare appropriate report(s) for the Inspector’s assigned activity.

Environmental Inspector

Duties and responsibilities require being knowledgeable and experienced in all phases of pipeline environmental inspection. The primary responsibility is monitoring the contractor ‘s activities during construction to verify compliance with environmental permits, environmental specifications , and approved environmental mitigation measures. The Environmental Inspector takes a proactive and preventative approach to inspection and monitoring to identify and correct issues of non-compliance and implementing appropriate measures to prevent further instances of environmental non-compliance.

Survey Coordinator

Duties and responsibilities require being knowledgeable and experienced in all phases of survey and pipeline inspection.  Provide logistics for the pipeline construction supervises the activities of field survey crews and chief and ensures technical survey results comply with project plans and specifications.  Interacts with construction contractor, land department, client representative, Inspectors as well as governmental agencies at the state, county and local level.

NDT / NDE Auditor Inspector

Duties and responsibilities require being knowledgeable and experienced in the field of welding. Auditors work closely with the chief Inspector and the x-ray team. NDT/NDE auditors are essential in the pipeline construction industry. Auditors examine the pipeline metal or steel’s integrity at the weld, and ensure safety for the duration or the lifetime of the line.  Auditors inspect and review films with the help of visual aids: looking for porosity, undercutting, rollover or cold lap, slag inclusion, poor penetration, voids, hydrogen embrittlement.  NDT auditors help to achieve cost efficiency to the client and to the overall project and gives positive results to the end user.

I&E Inspector

Duties and responsibilities require inspector to be knowledgeable and experienced in all phases of pipeline inspection. Inspectors work with the construct ion foreman, construction companies and field operations to assist in daily capital project construction and maintenance activities of gas pipeline, plant, measurement , and compression facilities. Responsible for on-site construct ion management, quality control and code compliance with all government agencies, state, county and local thought the construction projects. Inspectors also work with project managers, engineers and project coordinator, chief inspector, fie ld operations as well as the company contractor to ensure successful implementation of projects. I & E professionals utilize their experience, skills and extensive knowledge of proper methods to ensure a safe and efficient completion of projects. Inspections and verification for electrical and instrumentation work, inclusive materials, and equipment Ensures that the erection, installation, calibration, testing and commissioning of electrical and instrumentation equipment and systems has been carried out in accordance with contractual standards and specifications. Responsibilities also include processing detailed jobsite related documentation.
